Delivering Scalable Prime Power to Lebanon’s MEA Headquarters
Share
A trusted collaboration between METS Energy, Perkins Engines, and Allam Marine powers Lebanon’s national aviation infrastructure.
To support the operational resilience of Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport and its flagship carrier Middle East Airlines, METS Energy engineered and installed a state-of-the-art powerhouse exceeding 16,000 kVA of prime diesel capacity.
Working alongside Perkins® Engines and UK-based OEM partner Allam Marine, we deployed twelve Perkins 4000 Series engines across a phased rollout that included:
– 2 x 2000 kVA + 2 x 1000 kVA (initial buildout)
– 6 x 1000 kVA + 2 x 2000 kVA (expansion phase)
The powerhouse features full generator synchronization, load balancing, and centralized control panels to meet the high-reliability demands of MEA’s Cargo Centre, Aviation Academy, and flight simulator training facilities.
“The partnership between METS Energy, Allam Marine and Perkins Engines is one of the key factors in forming strong momentum for growth and trust.”
